With Countdown Live, you can count down or up in your nickname, personal message and/or media message and automatically update it.

You can choose the way the countdown is displayed and how it fits in your name or personal or media message. You can also choose a media message icon for your media message countdown (like Games or Office) and choose whether the counting should continue after the date is reached or display a finish message. To make sure your settings will turn out right, you can use the live preview in the preferences window which shows exactly how it will look like. And of course, you can choose how often the script should refresh the countdowns. While chatting with someone, you can also send your countdowns by using the (!CD1), (!CD2), (!CD3),... tags in a chat message to insert respectively the first, second, third,... countdown.

Countdown Live also supports Messenger Plus! Lives built-in auto-updater for scripts (unless you have disabled this option) so youll always be informed when a new version is available. Everything is customisable and multilingual, giving you full control over the script. If your language isnt available yet at the moment you install the script, youll be notified as soon as its added to the languages database.

Countdown Live has been completely redesigned and reprogrammed since version 1.0, aiming for a more user-friendly, easy-to-use and functional script experience. Lots of features have been added or improved and tons of bugs and glitches were fixed, such as countdown miscalculations or windows failing to open. To make the switch even easier, Countdown Live removes old script files and images and tries to port your preferences automatically from version 1.0 to the new version, although it is recommended that you take a look at the preferences after installation. Even if your preferences were ported correctly, its certainly worth to take a look at the new preferences window and the new features!

The 2.1 update comes with a lot of changes to enhance the possibilities of the script. The tags are now separated from the countdowns and have their own tab in the preferences window. You can now use a single tag in multiple countdowns, have unused countdown units skipped during the countdown calculation and group countdown units together. With this last feature, you can make your countdowns more dynamic by enabling the option to leave out a unit group when the value of the grouped unit turns zero. This way, you can avoid results like "5 days, 0 hours and 12 minutes to go". Much more changes were made in this new version, such as new options for the preview panel and a scrollable preferences tabs list, thats up to you to go and find them!

Starting with version 2.2, you can configure as many countdowns as you like in the same way the tags are set since 2.1. You can now also use custom conditions for your grouped countdown units and make groups with content to use when its condition isnt fulfilled. System-wide hotkeys which allow you to quickly enable and disable your hotkeys with the press of a button are now also available. Also, a documentation browser has been implemented were you can get a complete explanation about each feature of the script. This version also includes some changes under the hood, such as a completely rewritten countdown calculation system, improved stability and bug fixes.

After you installed the script, you can open the preferences window through Messenger Plus! Lives scripts menu in both the contact list as any chat window. All options in the preferences window have a describing tooltip which pops up when you move the mouse over the option.

This script requires Messenger Plus! Live 4.20 or higher to run. Version 4.70 or higher is recommended for an optimal experience.

Script commands:
/cdlpref = Open the preferences window.
/cdlabout = Open the about window.
/cdlstatus = Set the status of the countdowns. Parameters: <new status>
/cdltoggle = Toggle the status of the countdowns.
/cdldocs = Open the documentation browser window.
